My parents and sister got to go to the F1 race held in Singapore this past weekend. It’s the first nighttime F1 race ever and the pictures on the Boston Globe’s site are just spectacular. Wish I got to go!

Look at how beautiful Singapore is!

Singapore looks like a fun international city! I heard its nicer than Hong Kong and safer.

It’s a really fun, very metropolitan city indeed. “Nicer” is really subjective – I know a lot of people who just love love love Hong Kong. Personally, I enjoyed my visit but am always going to be spoiled by how clean Singapore is.
It’s also definitely the safest country I’ve been in! I miss being able to walk around downtown at 4 in the morning and feel completely safe.

I was right here in SGP during the F1 race but never did I see a beautiful night scene like this.
I returned to SGP from California, and gosh I miss California (I was in Northern Cal). Hmmmm….
Thanks for visiting my blog. It makes me happy when I hear from “counterparts” overseas, just as it makes me happy when “counterparts” leave their comments on my blog while I was overseas.
